Garage Flooring
A popular type of garage flooring is called G-Flooring. The G-floor in the coin pattern can provide the ultimate protection for the floor of any garage. This is an industrial strength flooring that is suitable for residential and commercial garages. Like the BLT flooring, the coin flooring is easy to install and clean. You just lay it down and trim around the edges. You don't have to use messy adhesives to make sure the flooring sticks to the surface of the concrete. Clean up is simple – just use any household cleaner and water.
G-flooring is similar to tiles because it comes in large square pieces that you fit together. These pieces fit so closely together that it is hard to see any seams. If you want to make sure the pieces will stay in place you can apply a thin layer of construction adhesive to the seams and wipe off the pieces with rubbing alcohol.
Using a G-floor pattern for the floor of your garage has several advantages over other types of flooring and garage mats. These include
- Insulation for the garage floor so that moisture cannot get through to the concrete
- Protects the concrete from stains caused by spills
- The cushioning of the flooring makes it easier to walk and stand on for long periods of time
- You have a clean and comfortable area to work in
- The material in the flooring has a non-slip surface so you don't have to worry about slipping and hurting yourself
- There is a fresh scent in the flooring to mask the grease and oil smells that are common in garages
- It is durable and will last for years.
